The Learning Companion’s purpose is to help learners register and choose courses in the WASH Systems Academy and to provide contextual information on water, sanitation and hygiene systems strengthening in focus countries.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Learning Companion, you agree that this prototype is for testing and the conversation is not private. Please do not share private information. By continuing, you accept that this conversation and your conversation data may be used to improve the Learning Companion. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Learning Companion.
2. Use of the Learning Companion
This Learning Companion provides users with information and services related to taking courses on the WASH System Academy. You agree to use the Learning Companion for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. With express permission from WASHNote in writing, you may test the ability of the Learning Companion and associated services to function appropriately when faced with requests that are not within its intended purpose. However, by doing so, you agree to stay in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and that all findings will be promptly communicated to the developers to improve the Learning Companion.
3. User Conduct
You must not use the Learning Companion to transmit any content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others. You agree not to disrupt the Learning Companion’s operation or access unauthorized areas of the Learning Companion’s underlying systems outside of normal testing. Any accidental transmission of inappropriate content must be immediately reported so that it can be deleted. Note that deleting messages in Telegram may not delete the information in the Learning Companion database and this must be reported for manual deletion.
4. Intellectual Property
All content provided by the Learning Companion, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of WASHNote or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5. Data Use for Development
Data collected from your interactions with the Learning Companion, including your responses, will be used to further develop and improve the Learning Companion. No personal data, such as user names or phone numbers, will be shared outside of the core development team and is only used to identify your Learning Companion conversations uniquely. By using the Learning Companion, you consent to the collection and use of this data for development and analytical purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
WASHNote will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of the Learning Companion, including direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
